All flight departures in the United States have been halted due to a computer malfunction.

An unexpected malfunction occurred with the Federal Aviation Authority’s hazard warning system, causing delays in nearly 3,500 flights across the USA.

All domestic flight departures were forced to be delayed for at least two and a half hours. International departures from Paris and Israel were also affected. The White House has stated that there is no indication that this malfunction was the result of a cyber attack.
